Breaking News!

Ok...I wanted to wait to post tonight b/c I know that Kevin has a creative way of doing this but I just couldn't stand to wait! So here goes...are you ready???? Scroll down....

Kevin and I are expecting:-) I confirmed that y'day with a doctor's appointment in Suffolk! Yep, definitely pregnant! I am about 5 1/2 weeks putting me due around July 9th as of now. I will know more definitely when I go back on December 11th for an ultra sound! WE are thrilled and most of you that know me can figure that I am scared to death since I am a BIG fainter when it comes to needles and pain! So keep me in your prayers that I'll be strong thru this all! I will try to post later on how we told our parents...Kevin is soo creative, his Mom's bday was y'day plus it'll bet the 1st grandchild on their side so she was ecstatic! I think we've covered all of our family so I wanted to spill the beans to my blogger buddies:-)

A little early Christmas...

On Friday coming into work listening to the radio, I heard the DJ talking about the Polar Express Exhibit opening at MacArthur. Immediately I thought of Tucker and his LOVE for trains! I called Whitney and Mom to see if they would be interested in going so that is just what we did...headed for MacArthur Saturday morning...Kevin, Mom, Whitney, Tucker, and myself. We had NO intentions of seeing Santa BUT Tucker was fascinated with him as you'll see in the pics below. He started out by talking to him from his stroller...then Santa invited us in to walk thru the BIG snow globe with snow falling. Tucker was fascinated with it all...all the snow globes had buttons to push to make the characters talk, etc. So, when we came out he went right to Santa's lap and talked and talked. We had NO intentions of even buying the pic the lady took UNTIL we saw the pic...it was soooo cute! So you know we had to buy it then! I will scan that in and share with you later! We will see the "REAL Santa"(as Whitney and I call him since we saw him every year when we were little) in Richmond in December. After leaving "Ho Ho" (as Tucker calls him)...we had to look at him about every 20-30 minutes...LOL! Thank goodness we could see him from all 3 floors of the mall! There were a few other attractions that amazed Tucker...1. riding the escalators continuously up and down (thanks to Uncle KK for entertaining while the rest of us shopped) 2. his new stocking hat...remember it was 70° on Saturday and was wearing his NEW hat around the mall...people thought it was sooo cute 3. the shooting water fountains that you throw pennies in and make wishes 4. the Redskin store and 5. all the boats, cranes, and other heavy equipment around outside just amazed Tucker. We had such a great day, we were so glad we made the trip to find out that Tucker LOVES Ho Ho:-) Warming up to Ho Ho!

Walking thru the snowing snow globe!

Tucker showing Santa something WAY up high!

I LOVE this one...whatever he was telling Ho Ho was very important!

Just before the BIG grin picture that Ho Ho's helper took!

And the best...a cool treat about choo choo's from Ho Ho!

Here's Tucker in his NEW hat from The Children's Place watching the water fountains!

This was the HUGE snow globe that we walked thru!

Here is 1 of the snow globes that had buttons to push to animate the characters.

Please HELP me make a decision!

We are having family pics done this weekend and are wearing fall colors. I need some help deciding on which color to wear so I thought that I would ask my fellow blogger friends for help. The orange and brown turtlenecks are identical...baby doll style. The golden one is a turtleneck as well but has a wide band at waste. My main thing is which color to wear??? If nobody else comments, I know Shelley will...LOL! I so miss not having her at work for stuff like this (only one of the many things I miss of course)! The good thing is that I'll see her the weekend so if she doesn't comment I have a back-up...I'll just take the turtlenecks to her and let her decide in person:-) Thanks in advance for your opinions:-)

Faith turns 4!

Faith is a Halloween Birthday girl! She was born Halloween night in 2004. This year, they celebrated her birthday the day after. On Saturday, we roasted hot dogs and smores! What a fun party! Faith, the birthday girl!
I thought this was such a sweet picture, Faith's Ga-Ga and Nana taking care of her younger twin brother and sister. Faith also has a big brother, Matthew.

Roasting hot dogs!

Erica and Ada enjoying a cupcake and ice cream!

Opening presents! Faith loves my Vera Bradley backpack so Kevin and I gave her a ballerina backpack!

"Our lil' fireman"...Halloween 2008

Here is "our lil fireman" Halloween night! Tucker had a BIG night with LOTS and LOTS of goodies! We started out in downtown Franklin trick or treating with Caroline Nelson at the local businesses. Then Whitney and Charlie took Tucker to "Trunk or Treat" at one of the local churches. What a great Halloween it was!
