Latest on my Uncle Earl Wayne

I received this email from my Mom late this afternoon...please continue to keep my Uncle Earl Wayne and his family in your prayers...they all need them to help them be strong b/c the latest doesn't sound too good at all.

Hello all,

Hope everyone is doing good.

Just received a call from PJ (my Mom's sister) who had received a call from Lisa, so this info is not very clear, but here goes.

Earl Wayne had an MRI done on Wednesday night, and he was admitted to the hospital where he is still. He had been complaining of double vision, along with other things. The MRI showed something on his brain... not sure what they call it. Anyway, his oncologist and another doctor are suppose to be meeting today I think to discuss what needs to be done. They told Judy last night that they could operate or he could take radiology. He is in a bad way. Eric, Melanie (2 of his children) and Judy (his wife) are at the hospital today while Lisa (his oldest child) is trying to keep things going at the office - after all, it is the BUSY BUSY Tax season. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers and I'll try to keep you informed as I hear.

My Growing Baby Bump

Many of you have ask me to post pics of my growing baby bump so here they are (I think I'm crazy for posting these...I'm sure I will later too when I look back...LOL)...I have really meant to do these more regularly on a monthly schedule but I can't seem to remember to take the pics. I am going to try to keep better records from now on so that when I post the next time, it will be exact! I'm thinking this was 12 weeks along...back in December 2008.

I believe this was 18 weeks, one day when we had the last ultrasound and got that envelope that we haven't looked in!

This was 20 weeks...1/2 WAY!

And this is tonight..25 weeks today...boy have I grown!

Computer HELP Please!

Once again I need computer HELP...so I hope one of you will be able to help? The problem is...how come when you go to my blog page and click on BJ's blog...I get that "feed" message and it won't show her blog like everyone else's? Have I clicked on something that I shouldn't have and didn't know it...I have tried everything that I know to try? Please HELP if you can...a HUGE THANKS in advance:-) Have a great Monday!

GREAT News on my Dad...Many thanks to ALL of you for your thoughts and prayers!

As you all know, my sister Whitney, Kevin, and I were in Norfolk today with my Dad for a heart catharization. Dr. Eich did the procedure...he was able to go in thru his hand which was a huge plus b/c otherwise he probably would have not been able to come home this afternoon. Dr. Eich gave us GREAT news...everything went well...NO BLOCKAGE, just some narrowing in the arteries which can be treated with meds so we PRAISE the Good Lord for this:-) Many thanks to you all for your many thoughts and prayers! We couldn't have got great news without you all praying.

The latest on my Dad...

Just wanted to give you all an update...my Dad is in Norfolk but there was a mix up with the timing of the procedure. Now they will do the procedure tomorrow morning at 10:30. I'm thinking that my sister and I will go just to passify our own minds even though he insisted that we not. We would both just feel better being there. I'll continue to keep you posted...many, many thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

Update on my Dad

Just wanted to give you all an update on my Dad...they are transporting him from Franklin to Norfolk now. They will do a heart catherization 1st thing in the morning to determine how bad the blockage is and if they will do the balloon procedure or open heart surgery. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. I will post updates as I get them. He sounded good tonight when I last talked to him and said for Whitney nor myself (he doesn't want me to get germs being prego and then the stress I put myself under) to take off for the surgery tomorrow...I feel a little weird about not being there so it will all determine on what the heart catherization results tell as to whether we go on in the morning or whether we go later on...much of my other family will be there so I have told them to call me ASAP to keep me informed.

Many needed prayers...

Just wanted to blog really quick before heading to bed...need many prayers from you guys for 3 members of my family. I learned shortly when I got off this evening that my Dad had been admitted to the hospital for chest pains. They are running test so hopefully we will know the details tomorrow. This comes just 2 weeks after my Grandaddy (yes my Dad's Dad) had a heart attack. I am happy to say that he is doing wonderful after having surgery for a 90% blockage at Norfolk General. And then there's my Uncle Earl Wayne who I've blogged about in the past (my Uncle with cancer)...he is really having a tough go of it...he did come home a month or so ago and was progressing well BUT then he got pneumonia last weekend and was readmitted and pulled through that and now has been readmitted again for kidney stones now. Please keep all of my sick family in your thoughts and prayers. I will try and keep you all updated as soon as I know more. I hate doing post like this but what better place to get support than from my blogger buddies...thanks in advance to all of you! Hope you are all having a great week!

My VERY 1st Post!

Just wanted to let all my blogger buddies know that my very 1st post was July 1st 2008 (thanks for reminding me Mary...I read your blog)! And a HUGE thanks for those getting together and heading up last night's FUN! It was such a great time to meet new friends and get together with the one's I already knew (will be adding those new blogger friends to my blogger list when I get a chance)! We have to do that more often! Also THANKS so much for the the blogger gifts...Judi, Mandy, and Wendy...y'all are sooo talented...I LOVE everything, so sweet of all of you! And Wendy, special thanks to you for the baby gift...that was so sweet of you...I LOVE it and so did Kevin...he just laughed when I showed him this morning! I will try to get the pics I took last night posted the weekend but I'm not making any promises with the wedding. BUT if not, I will definitely get them posted this upcoming week! And I had several of you ask me about "belly" shots...I will try my best to find those on my computer this week too and continue to keep you all posted! Spring Tease!

Snapped this pic the weekend...the daffodil's blooming along with this wonderful weather we've had sure has lifted my spirits...HOWEVER...it's just a "Spring Tease" as old man Winter will return tomorrow...I can hardly wait for the Spring weather to stick around...

This is what I came home to y'day in my front yard! Too funny...Flush Cancer...Relay for Life:-) A humorous way to raise money for a good cause! I haven't called the number just yet to find out who put it in my yard but will this weekend hopefully!

Baby Benson, 22 weeks 1 day

Hi all! Hope all of you are well. I had my 22 weeks, 1 day appt this morning. All looks great with myself and Baby Benson. Baby Benson's heart rate was great, 147 and I was measuring right on track. I had put on quite a bit of weight this time which I knew BUT Dr. Sterlacci didn't fuss b/c she said I was where I should be now being a little over half way:-) That made me feel much better b/c I just knew that they were going to fuss...LOL! I will go back in 4 weeks...April 2nd and will have to do my glucose testing. That means more blood work...YUCK! But they won't have to draw as much thank goodness! Take care and I'll keep y'all posted!

Here is the video of Tucker sledding that I promised y'day...he had a blast...just listen to him laughing and screaming the whole way down...he was so funny! And to think that we all laughed at my sister when she bought this piece of entertainment at the auction last Spring for a whopping $5! Boy are we glad she bought it now...you can get them at Target for $35-$40...I think that's how much they were when we looked!

Congratulations to Amanda and Junior! They became engaged Saturday night! And a wedding is planned in 2 weeks...for Sunday, March 15 as long as the preacher can perform the ceremony then!
