The Legendary Santa

Just before leaving home all dressed up for Santa!

Waiting in line before entering Santa Land...look at the excitement on their lil faces!

The professional shot with her lil "cheese"!

Posing with the Snow Queen...it wasn't until after we had visited Santa that I realized my camera had gotten on the wrong setting so that's why many of them are fuzzy!

Look how proud she is to be sitting on Santa's lap...this is when she looked over at me b/c she knew I had my camera!

Trying to remember what she was going to tell Santa!

She looks like she was wondering why Santa was squeezing her so tight...I LOVE this picture...I think it's so sweet!

Tucker and Reed's turn...poor Reed! Looks like it had Tucker a bit worried too!

Posing with the bears after seeing Santa!

All changed and ready to go to Bass Pro and Uncle Harry and Aunt Peggy's 50th wedding anniversary celebration!

But wait...1st we must ride Santa's sleigh coaster!

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we made our annual trip to visit The Legendary Santa. This was the very 1st time that we had been on a Saturday so we knew that we would probably have to wait. We arrived just after they opened the doors but there was already a line so we didn't get to see Santa come down the chimney, I want Paisley, Tucker and Reed to see this at least once while they are small children. I just remember this being so amazing as a child! The kids did pretty well and we only waited an hour. It was not our 10 and 15 minute wait in years past but I still won't complain since my sister and I waited 3 hours plus as children waiting to see The Legendary Santa! Paisley was so excited waiting and as we got closer she was still excited! She talked with the Snow Queen then ran right over to sit on Santa's lap! They snapped a picture with a smile and then she began to look at me since she knew I had my camera and forgot all about what she wanted to tell Santa. I snapped my pic and went back up with her to help her remember what she wanted to tell Santa! We then waited for Tucker and Reed, Tucker wasn't so sure as he got closer. Tucker and Reed spoke with the Snow Queen and were great until Whitney sat Reed on Santa's lap! He was not happy at all! Whitney went back up and held Reed and he was immediately just fine. Tucker told Santa what was on his list and helped tell him what Reed would like too. As we left, they discovered that the Santa coaster was running so since it was a nice day, Kevin went back in and bought 3 tickets! They thoroughly enjoyed their ride. Then it was off to Bass Pro for lunch and then my Aunt and Uncle's 50th wedding anniversary celebration.

Corinth Halloween Party

I am still trying to wrap up October...I have a few more posts so hopefully I won't be too long getting them posted! The Saturday before Halloween we attended a Halloween Party that was put on by our sister church. It was the 1st time anyone had been from our church! We had such a great time (adults included)! We will definitely be attending in years to come! We ate dinner there and then there was a costume contest, a cake walk, and games for the kids! When Kevin dropped us off (he had to work that night:-() at Me-Maw and Paw-Paw's we discovered that Me-Maw had dressed up just as Paisley in her 50's attire...this was a surprise to us but Paisley thought it was great that Me-Maw was exactly what she had dressed as!

Wells Ricks, the tree frog and costume winner I must add! He is Tripp's cousin on his Dad's side!

Can you tell she was having a great time?

Wells wanted to start the cake walk early!

Paisley and Wells hit it right off! I even caught Paisley giving him a kiss right on the lips!

Cameron and Paisley! Paisley loved Cameron and I think I see a future babysitter:-)

Reed all dressed in his attire!

The 50's crew...they were all contest winners!

Is he not cute with that hair all greased back!

Paisley posing!

Mr. Cool Dude Tucker!

Tripp, the Butterball Turkey, contest winner also!

Mom just before winning the contest in her age group!

Paisley with her prize from winning the contest...she played out before they called her name! Uncle Charlie was a great pillow!

Still napping on Uncle Charlie in her Halloween pj's! I might add that she got a second wind right after this and played many, many games including the cake walk and fishing. She and Tucker left with cakes...yay!

Turtle Creek Farm with GLA

Last Wednesday was Paisley's very 1st field trip. Her preschool group, Grace's Little Angels (GLA), took a trip to Turtle Creek Farms in Newsoms. It was the coldest and windiest day we've had in October but that made it fell like it was Fall! I was lucky enough to be able to go too! Paisley had the best time (and I did too), we took a hayride, got up close with the animals, saw a working beehive, and picked a pumpkin. As soon as we got there Paisley took right on to Farmer Blair. She did not have a shy bone in her body as you will see.
Paisley and Zoe walking up to the farm.

Are they not the sweetest!

See Paisley...told you she took right on to Blair who she had never seen in her life before...she helped him park cars.

Zoe and Paisley swinging while waiting for her other classmates to arrive.

"CHEESE"

And she discovered the pumpkins and probably moved them around 100 times!

Zoe and her Mommy Amanda

Paisley and Mommy on the hayride!

Twins Jenna and David with their GaGa!

Levi and his Mommy Ada!

Corbitt and his Mommy Tamara (left) and Ms. Jill and Lee!

Paisley got up close with the cows (made me a bit nervous BUT he assured us they were friendly cows)

Look how happy she was!

Had to post this pic of Corbitt...look at that smile on his face...he LOVED the cows!

Honey bees!

Levi found the red bucket hidden in the maze! In the bucket were tickets (Turtle Creek Farm stickers) to pick out a pumpkin!

Ms. Raegan's class on the hayride!

Paisley headed to pick out her pumpkin!

I think this was the 2nd or 3rd pumpkin she picked...not sure how many she touched before deciding on one to take home.

I think I want this one!

Checking out the duck and her egg!

Corbitt, Paisley and Levi were all born w/in a month of each other so we thought it would be neat to take their pic together...as you can tell that was a challenge!

Playing with the pumpkins again!

Shelling corn off the cobb to feed to the animals!

Feeding the chickens!

The mule and the horse...getting ready to feed them!

Another chicken!

Paisley feeding the horse!

Petting the duck!

The goat!

Milking the milk cow! I can't believe Paisley did this!

And playing with the pumpkins again!

Posing for a quick "CHEESE"!

The entire preschool got to write their names on the barn!

Blakely, Petyon and Paisley showing off their "Sew What" shirts!

Saying goodbye to MR. BLAIR, Paisley puckers up and gives him a kiss! This was totally unexpected by myself as well as Blair! I told him it was safe to say that she had a GREAT time!
