Busch Gardens Part V (the final post)

Waterpark fun Sesame Street Style! I think this was Paisley and Reed's favorite part and had we started here we would have never gotten them away! It really is a great addition to Busch Gardens for the lil one's! There's even a live show which Paisley thought was GREAT! Reed was ok with it but he would rather ride the lil flume so he didn't enjoy the water park as much! Daddy surprised Paisley with an icee drink that had an Elmo straw...YUMMO!

So much fun!

The live show with all the Sesame Street characters!

Paisley sees Abby Cadabby (sp)!

Can yout tell these 2 had a BLAST!

Finally Reed decides to try it out before heading home!

Busch Gardens Part IV

Tucker decided to tackle a few adult rides with his Mommy and Daddy!

He loved this one...they are in the 2nd row!

This one he did NOT love so much...I think it made his tummy feel funny!

BUT he LOVED this one...You can see him holding his hands up in the below shirt...he is in the teal shirt...4th row from the back!

And then Paisley, Tucker, Reed, Whitney and myself got to fly a little on the hang gliders!

Paisley on the swings!

Reed after waking up from his nap!

Aunt Sister and Paisley rode the "Egg Ferris Wheel"!

Paisley was trying to peek out to see us watching her!

Tucker and Charlie climbed the giant tree house while Paisley was riding a few kiddie rides....they spotted Paisley as you can tell by Charlie pointing!

Here's my Lil Bathing Beauty! She absolutely LOVES the water! I can hardly wait for vacation to expose her to "The Big Water" as Tucker use to say AKA the beach!

Paisley has mastered a milestone (I think)!

I'm holding my breath BUT yesterday was a GREAT day with the potty training which led me to think that my newly 2 year old has mastered Potty Training. We've been going here and there for a bit now but I haven't pushed the issue until last Tuesday. I made up my mind that we were going to put "big girl" panties on and go with it since she had turned 2 on Monday. Kevin was home all last week and things didn't go that great but were ok. He seemed a bit frustrated so I had to keep telling him that it would take a lil time! Paisley was at her Me-Maw's on Monday and Tuesday of this week so we tried again! Mom text me at work on Monday pretty much saying that it was a complete disaster having gone thru 6 pairs of "big girl" panties. She was on her 7th but so far so good. I picked her up after work still on her 7th pair. I took her home and after sitting on the pot and nothing happening she gets up and w/in 5 minutes pees in her pants. So we put on the 8th pair and the same thing! So it's now bath time and I refuse to put on anymore "big girl" panties. So a diaper it is! I don't think she liked the idea of the diaper at all as she fussed with me a bit. She tells me 2 times before bed time that she needs to pee pee and runs to the bathroom and of course she pee pee's BOTH times...YAYYYY..I think we may have this I thought! Yesterday was a great day ONLY having one accident at Mom's and NO accidents at home. She even tells me when she needs to poop! I have NOT been this excited in a very long time! I am such a proud Mom! Hoping today will be a great day with Daddy! We'll see! As you can see by her potty chart, she's been doing quite well! She'll get to pick a treat this weekend for doing so well! And of course we have started a new potty chart and will continue with that encouragement for awhile to be sure she has the hang of things!

And here's the BIRTHDAY GIRL...

I am finally getting around to blogging and sharing pics of Paisley on her actual Birthday (07-11)...she woke up in a great mood talking away about her bike that she got at her birthday party. She then went and got her Mickey/Minnie chair that she had also gotten for her birthday and wanted to watch a DVD (looks like from the pic below that it was a Barney DVD). She then ate breakfast and we set out for the Norfolk Zoo. It was a hot day but we all had a fabulous time despite the heat. Oh...failed to mention that we had lunch at Chick-fil-a before. I also wanted to share that I really do have a "big girl" b/c at her 2 year check-up on Friday she had to have a finger prick and it didn't phase her one bit...she had the best time at the doctor's office with all the nurses and pediatrician (she is not like myself and I'm oh so glad). She made me very proud. She is still in the 50th percentile for her weight at 25.5 lbs BUT went up to the 90th percentile in height at 35 inches (almost 3 feet)! Paisley seems to be above average talking with her sentences (she will repeat anything and everything so we really have to watch what we say at all times)! And of course we are working on the potty training...that's going OK and hope to master it soon (before we leave for vacation would be great but I'm trying not to push it)! I can't believe my baby girl is 2!

All ready to go in her #2 sand bucket shirt...she just had to pose with her new bike!

A hibiscus flower in the gardens at the zoo...Paisley wasn't too into the flower gardens...I thought they were gorgeous BUT she kept saying "more animals".

Posing on the Rhino which she loved!

Checking out the big turtle!

The real rhino and a zebra!

Looking for the lions!

There they are Mommy! We were so lucky as we could see all the animals pretty well this trip!

A should ride from Daddy!

The dancing elephant...he kept dancing back and forth and Paisley thought that was hilarious!

Geese, Giraffe's, and and ostrich!

The tigers were amazingly gorgeous!

Posing!

One of the bears!

And wherever there is water Paisley is HAPPY so we ending playing in the water fountains! I really think that was her favorite part!

It took her a little while to warm up but once she did she had a BLAST!

Getting a lil braver!

And after she wasn't too happy with us for dragging her away, she told Mr. Elephant goodbye outside the park!

And ten minutes into the ride home she was out!

When we got home, Daddy put Paisley's new patio set together!

Later Aunt Sister, Uncle Charlie, Tucker & Reed showed up with another gift. And Me-Maw and Paw-Paw came too! Here Paisley sings with Minnie in the card she got...she LOVES this card and sings "Happy Birthday from Minnie" many time a day! It's the cutest...I even got her on video!

A table and chairs set from Aunt Sister, Uncle Charlie, Tucker & Reed! She is enjoying this set so much!

Singing with her Minnie card again!

I decided to just do cupcakes with Mickey sprinkles since she had her big cake at her party!

The birthday girl was thrilled to have us sing to her! Just look at that face!

And she says "Yayyyy" after we finished singing!

Getting ready to blow out the candle!

I'd say Miss P had a fabulous 2nd birthday!
