Lazy Saturday!

Well...I know I have not posted lately and I apologize...just haven't had much to post about...nothing really exciting going on. I have tried to comment regularly:-) Not doing much today, being pretty lazy on this lazy rainy day! I have managed to BEGIN going thru some stuff in the bedroom that will be Baby Benson's nursery...it's gonna be a long process...LOL! How in the world do we collect so much stuff!!! And what am I going to do with it..well the stuff that I'm not getting rid of! It's just amazing how much stuff I have collected after being married for only 3 years! OH...I do have a check-up on Thursday so if I don't post before, I will be posting how it goes...nothing major at this appointment...just hope that all is well. Y'all will be amazed at how much I have grown...well those of you that have seen me...I have really sprouted in the past 2 weeks:-) I will try to post pics so that y'all can all see and just this week I have really been able to feel Baby Benson moving around...he/she does that A LOT! Such an amazing feeling...I will be glad when I get a little further along so that Kevin can feel and see it for himself...shouldn't be long now...I am just over the half way point:-) Oh and one more thing...I am so looking forward to the blogging dinner...it will be a blast:-) Y'all a great rest of the weekend:-)

Blowing off steam...

Hi all...I am posting to blow off some major steam so I apologize ahead of time....several things have really been plucking my nerves at work...that may have something to do with pregnancy and hormones...LOL...BUT it's not just me! For quite awhile now I haven't been able to view a lot of y'alls blogs here at work...they have some sort of block on them all of sudden and it BURNS me up...that's why I am so late usually commenting on most of them! It's weird b/c depending on the color of the writing depends on whether you can read them...there's no backgrounds and some don't have pictures either. So I'm having to view them all at home most of the time...when I get around to it. And then last week they put many blocks on numerous websites and this week have blocked quite a few more...just makes me furious! What I don't understand is that so many here can take there smoke breaks (NO offense to those of you who smoke at all...that's not my point) numerous times thru the day and play there on-line fantasy football but then you can't break and look at the internet or have the internet when you eat lunch for the sites you want to be on. It just makes me sooo MAD!!! As long as you are performing your job as you should and getting things done, why can't you have a little freedom, and why can't folks mind their own business and treat you like adults instead of kindergartners!!!

Our wonderful weekend recap!

What a BUSY wonderful weekend we had! Friday night, Kevin and I went with Whitney, Charlie, and Tucker to the Monster Truck Jam. Boy was it LOUD in there...I didn't remember it being that loud before...Tucker wore muffs and all us adults wore ear plugs. Tucker was a bit uneasy until he got those muffs, then he had such a great time! On Saturday, Valentine's Day, Kevin and I exchanged gifts...he really surprised me and I think I surprised him too! He gave me diamond studs for the 2nd hole in my ear, a Darius Rucker CD, and some chocolate. I gave him and autographed Dale Murphy baseball...his all time favorite player! Whitney and Charlie brought Tucker over around lunch time so we gave him his Valentine gift from us and then we all went to lunch. Saturday night, a group of our friends went to the Valentine's Dance that they have every year...it was a lot of fun to hang out with friends that we don't see much. And then on Sunday, we went to church and then went to the Brantley twins 1st birthday party! It was such a busy weekend but we had loads of fun:-) Look at those cheeks...I could just eat them up! "CHEESE....."

And yes, one actually turned over...you should have seen me after that happened...boy was I jumpy...LOL!

Opening gifts!

What a Mess!

One day last week...I think it was Wednesday...I came home to this mess! Kevin bought both Sandy and Gertie new dog beds...as you can tell from the pic...the dog beds didn't survive very long at all! I told Kevin when he brought them home that they wouldn't make it b/c Gertie would tear them up and sure enough that's what happened (the puppy came out in her---she still has much growing up to do...LOL)! She tore both hers and Sandy's into shreds in no time at all! So...on that afternoon that I came home...I thought that our house surely got the snow I had been waiting for...LOL! What a mess! I had Tucker that afternoon so now he goes around telling everybody that KK and Chele Chele's dogs made a BIG MESS! And he is so right! Needless to say, they won't be getting another bed anytime soon!

Weekend fun with Tucker!

Just a few pics of Tucker from the cell phone...got to spend quite a bit of fun time with him during the wonderful weather this weekend:-) Whitney needed to pick up a few things at the mall on Saturday so I went along to help out and entertain...Tucker had so much fun riding the rides in the middle of the mall...they know just where to put them...LOL! His favorite was the helicopter! He also rode the corvette car and the ice cream truck! Then yesterday afternoon my Dad stopped by on his motorcycle so Tucker had a blast checking that out...he loves "mo-mo's"! I definitely have spring fever now after the wonderful warm temps!

Baby Benson, 18 weeks, 1 day

Hi everyone! I went this morning for a check-up and had an ultra sound in which they checked the complete anatomy of Baby Benson! All looks perfect and Baby Benson is growing just as he/she should...and I couldn't believe that I had only gained 1 lb...I knew for sure that it was more but I'm definitely not complaining...LOL! The heart rate was 142 and he/she weighs 7 ounces. As most of you know...we could have found out the sex of the baby...well...I wanted to BUT Kevin didn't so we didn't BUT...she did seal it in an envelope so that if later on we decided that we wanted to know, we could know...all we will have to do is open the envelope! Attached are some ultra sound pics...he/she was a little stubborn today, didn't want to show us his face (a little shy maybe) but once the ultra sound tech played with he/she a bit, she managed to get Baby Benson to turn where she wanted and got a few good pics. He/she likes to be balled up with hands around the face...she even caught Baby Benson yawning a few times:-) We'll go back in a month...will keep y'all posted! NOW AS I TYPE, KEVIN IS BEHIND ME GOING "LET'S OPEN IT AND SEE" so....you all may be getting another update sooner than later...LOL! Open wide!

I managed to catch a few pics of the wild one's y'day afternoon when I let them out to play...Gertie is on the left, she is still a puppy, she'll be 2 in March. Sandy, Gertie's mommy, is on the right...she will be 9 this year I believe! They seem to be adjusting to their new home fairly well now...I was a little worried at first.
