Just wanted to take a minute and tell you the latest on Paisley. We had to submit another stool sample to the hospital lab on Monday to check for the salmanella...the health dept likes to keep doing one until you get a negative that it's not there (even though they haven't confirmed the 1st sample the lab found salmanella in). So late yesterday afternoon Paisley's pediatrician calls to tell me that there is indeed some salmanella there! Crazy! Anyway...Paisley is her normal self eating, drinking, playing, etc. THANK GOODNESS! So no worries there! However...the salmanella will probably take around 12 weeks to rid itself from her body completely! WOW! They do NOT like to give antibiotics for this unless it is completely necessary b/c the meds tend to make it worse and prolong the sickness so we certainly do NOT want that! So because she is fine we will leave her be and do another stool sample probably in 12 weeks. The pediatrician will call and let me know hopefully today after she consults with the health dept. Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers through all of this!

I know all this is driving you crazy and as a parent you want nothing to be wrong with your child, but hang in there. I am glad she isn't showing signs of feeling bad. I hope this all passes soon!

where in the world did she get that and u guys didn't get it..poor baby...i am glad she is almost back to her old self again..
