Sandy and Gertie

Just got an email with this picture from my mother-n-law that Sandy and Gertie, our 2 yellow labs, are finally moving to our house...Kevin and I have only been married for a little over 3 years now...LOL! Today is the big moving day! We had a fence put in a few weeks ago so that they can run b/c we live in the city limits so they can't run freely! Hopefully they will adjust just fine! I'll try to take more pics the weekend and post. Tonight should be really interesting...hope they don't bark all night at the cats next door...LOL! A BIG thanks to my in-laws for taking such great care of them!

Amazing Grace

There was an email going around in December of a house with Christmas lights and music that the lights danced to. Well, I showed Tucker that email and now every time he comes to my house he says "see Amazing"...the reason he says this is b/c he loves the song "Amazing Grace" and the email starts out playing that song and then gets faster. Tucker can sing the entire 1st verse of Amazing Grace...he learned that from a kids Christian DVD movie that my cousin gave him last Christmas. When we sing it in church, he even sings with the biggest smile on his face. It is the sweetest thing! I tried three times to get him singing BUT he discovered all three times that I was recording him and he stopped. Here are 2 of my attempts, he sings a word here and there on these videos...if I ever catch him singing without me knowing I'll share that b/c it is sooo sweet...I just have to record him singing the entire verse!

Tucker & Ben's Play Day

My friend Brandi and I have been best of friends since the 6th grade and we've managed to stay close all this time. We always set aside a day after Christmas to get together and exchange our gifts. Since she had Ben (he turned 2 a few days before Christmas), we've made it a point to be sure that Tucker and Ben could have a play day when we exchange our gifts. So, this year on New Year's Day, Whitney, myself, and Tucker go spend the day with Brandi and Ben. We did pizza for lunch, exchanged gifts and watched the boys have a great time! Tucker and Ben eating "pizza pie" as they kept saying!

Ben on the "spinnie" (can't remember the real name for these)...Look at how much they've shrunk in size since I was a kid!

Tucker on the "spinnie"!

Ben had birthday gifts to open along with his Christmas since we weren't able to make his birthday party! He was fascinated with the Craftsman tools that Tucker gave him...he kept trying to cut down the Christmas tree with his chain saw...he kept saying "I cut the tree down"...LOL!

Tucker gets some John Deere stuff from Ben...look at that expression...and his next words were "Open Please"!

Ben with his chainsaw safety ware...he was hilarious!

Tucker and Ben eating tootsie rolls!

Look at how much these 2 have grown...I found these so I wanted to share...WOW it's amazing how fast they grow in a year!

Christmas Day Pics...Finally!

Christmas Day was a little bit different this year since Kevin was working night shift Christmas Eve Night and Christmas Day night. Our plans were altered only a little. Christmas morning we always have breakfast at my Mom and David's and open gifts there. Well...Kevin text me and told me that he would be late getting off...they had a big fire and had to call in 3 fire departments Christmas Eve night, no one was hurt thankfully! He didn't work over too much so he came to Mom and David's a little late, ate breakfast, opened gifts, and then went back home to get some sleep. OH...but we exchanged stockings between the 2 of us before he went to sleep at home. Then I went to my sister's for lunch...she always has her in-laws over for lunch and they exchange. It was a nice visit, Mom and David came too and my grandparents stopped in to see Tucker's Santa stuff. I went back home around 3ish...Kevin awoke and we went to visit and exchange with his parents. We usually stay longer but he had to go to work so it was a short visit but a very enjoyable one. And Christmas night after Kevin left for work, I decided to go and visit my cousin for a bit. It was a great day even though Kevin had to work:-) Tucker and Paw-Paw check out what Ho Ho left at Me-Maw and Paw-Paw's...a stocking full of goodies and a big, big present!

Tucker helps pass out gifts to everyone...boy did he enjoy this!

And here's the BIG, BIG present that Ho Ho left at Me-Maw and Paw-Paw's...it's a FIRE TRUCK! Ho Ho left a smaller fire truck at his house BUT had no room to leave one this big.

Christmas Eve Pics

Christmas Eve I spent most of the day at my Mom's. Kevin was working nights during the holiday so I knew that he would need rest and didn't need me making noise around the house so I went to Mom's. Mom had Tucker since Whitney had to work on Christmas Eve and she had some baking to do so I entertained Tucker. I decided to take Tucker a treat so I took him the sand bucket that I did with his initial on it filled with goodies. He had the best time going thru all the goodies...he reminded me of myself and my cousins when we used to get "goodie boxes" from my Ganny and Pop every Christmas. That was the gift we all waited for it really was nothing but junk...LOL!
One of the things in the bucket was chap stick b/c he always ask me for my chap stick every time he sees me so here he is imitating how he puts chap stick on.

Look at Tucker with these funny teeth...there were a few pairs of these in his bucket!

This was Christmas Eve night. I went to Tucker's Christmas Eve night after Kevin went to work. Here he is in his Christmas PJ's.

Tucker baking cookies for Santa...HO HO as he calls him.
