Here I am in my wedding gown....

Well...here I am in my wedding gown! I put it on AGAIN last night so that Kevin could take pics of me in it. Amazingly it wasn't as tight last night as it was Tuesday night! I thought I was going to post pics of me in my dress on my wedding day too BUT I forgot all about digging the pictures up so that may come at a later post! I so wish that we could all get together and take a group shot of us "blogger friends" in our wedding gowns...just think it would be a really cool shot!

Thinking about Christmas...I know it's a bit early...

I'm trying to get a little bit of a start on ideas for my Christmas shopping, I know it's only August but it's time to start thinking! Kevin and I give to LOTS of little one's so I have to watch my spending because there are so many of them! Since I have been introduced to Uppercase Living, I thought it would be a great idea to give the children something personalized so I have already ordered the initial of their first names, the letters only cost me around 80 cents a piece I believe. I was thinking about doing something similiar to the picture and putting crayons and a coloring book with it (of course they would only have their initial). I may end up getting another embelisment as well since Shelley is having a party the end of September. What do y'all think? Have you seen these little bins/tubs or anything similiar that would work that wouldn't cost me a fortune?

Stay Tuned for More "Trash the Dress"...

I'm sure most of you have read Shelley's blog post for today. As she mentioned I hope to post pics of me in my dress tomorrow. I tried it on Tuesday night and can get it on...woo hoo!!! BUT I sure can't breathe in the thing...LOL! Anyway, we are hoping to have loads of fun with this THANKS to my good friend Tara who is now a photographer! You can read more about this trend on Tara's blog...www.photobytara.blogspot.com!!! The girl you see on the blog is a local girl as well, I went to help out Tara with this shoot a little over a year ago in Corolla, NC. I swore I wouldn't ever think about doing anything like this to my dress BUT now that I know that her dress came completely clean I am ecstatic about it! Stay tuned...

Tucker's "MINI" Grave Digger

Uncle KK and Aunt Chele bought Tucker this Power Wheels Grave Digger before he even turned a year old! I know....SPOILED! Well, before you say that...it was on clearance for a very good deal so we had to get it! And I am sooo glad we did...He LOVES this machine! We keep it at our house since he has so many other toys at his house. It's the 1st thing he wants to do most of the time when he visits! He is hilarious as you can see by watching the video! He's not the best driver just yet BUT not bad for a 2 year old...LOL!

FINALLY...it worked!

I FINALLY got the video to post SO scroll down my blog to Tucker's MINI Grave Digger post, I tried a few days a go so that's why it's down the list a bit! Didn't do anything different so maybe it was something up with my internet!

More trouble...

First of all...I'm not the smartest computer person, in fact I call myself "computer stupid" most of the time...I'm still having trouble uploading a video to my blog! I uploaded one last week with NO trouble at all BUT this week has been a different story! Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong, how do I need to save it before I upload it...I have it on a flash drive with me today if anybody can help! Thanks in advance!

Friends vs. Southern Friends

I received this on an email yesterday and thought it was cute so I thought that I would share. I had planned on posting something else but it looks like my video is TOO BIG so I will try to figure something else out about that and post later...

FRIENDS VS. SOUTHERN FRIENDS

FRIENDS: Never ask for food.
SOUTHERN FRIENDS: Always bring the food.

FRIENDS: Will say 'hello'.
SOUTHERN FRIENDS: Will give you a big hug and a kiss.

FRIENDS: Call your parents Mr. and Mrs.
SOUTHERN FRIENDS: Call your parents Mom and Dad

FRIENDS: Have never seen you cry.
SOUTHERN FRIENDS: Cry with you.

FRIENDS: Will eat at your dinner table and leave.
SOUTHERN FRIENDS: Will spend hours there, talking, laughing, and just being together.

FRIENDS: Know a few things about you.
SOUTHERN FRIENDS: Could write a book with direct quotes from you.

FRIENDS: Will leave you behind if that's what the crowd is doing.
SOUTHERN FRIENDS: Will kick the whole crowds' back-ends that left you.

FRIENDS: Would knock on your door.
SOUTHERN FRIENDS: Walk right in and say, 'I'm home!'

FRIENDS: will visit you in jail
SOUTHERN FRIENDS: will spend the night in jail with you !!

FRIENDS: will visit you in the hospital when you're sick
SOUTHERN FRIENDS: will cut your grass and clean your house then come spend the night with you in the hospital

FRIENDS: have you on speed dial
SOUTHERN FRIENDS: have your number memorized

FRIENDS: Are for a while.
SOUTHERN FRIENDS: Are for life.

FRIENDS: Might ignore this.
SOUTHERN FRIENDS: Will forward this to all their Southern Friends
