My cousins wedding!

This past weekend I traveled to Richmond with Mom, David, and Whitney to my cousin Eric's wedding. He married a really sweet girl, Amanda. Eric and Amanda seem to be one of the most "in love" couples that I have ever met. Eric is my Mom's brother's youngest child, he and I are 2 years apart. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was a lot of fun. It was in one of the biggest and most beautiful churches that I have ever seen. The reception was at The Dominion Club. The best part...we were able to visit with family that we don't see often at all as you'll see in the pics below. OH...and the newlyweds are honeymooning in Hawaii (I told them that they may find me in their suitcase when they open it...that's where Kevin and I honeymooned and we're dying to go back)!!!

I also wanted to give you all an update of my Mom's brother who is battling cancer who I have mentioned before in some of my post. We were concerned the middle of last week that he would not be able to attend his son's wedding. He has really been battling this deadly disease for the past month, he has been so sick that he's only gotten out of bed to use the bathroom and brush his teeth. Saturday a week ago he was admitted to the hospital b/c he had gotten so weak. He found out that he was dehydrated and then they have biopsied several more spots that they have found. My Uncle Earl Wayne did make it to the wedding, I thought he looked great. The doctor's were able to give him fluids and steroids to give him the strength to be there for his son's special occasion. We thank God for that! Please continue to keep him and his family in your prayers. He is still unable to take treatments until he gets his strength back up. I will keep you posted as I know more.

Our beach vacation...Part IV

On Tuesday of our vacation, we didn't do much except for relax at the pool! Stay tuned...more to come (y'all are probably tired of the vacation posts BUT too bad...LOL!) I hope to post pics from my cousins wedding today as well! Charlie and Kevin playing a little pool volleyball!

Just wanted to share some great news with everyone...my hubby got a promotion today, he had NO idea that he'd get the job but he did!!! Woo hoo...CONGRATS to him!!! I am so happy for him!

Another BIG 30 Birthday!

Happy 30th birthday to my friend Mandy Bailey! I have searched and searched for a picture but can't seem to find one so I'll post one hopefully at a later date! Mandy and I met in middle school and were friends thru high school, then lost track of each other but reunited thru my sister and Charlie! Small world! Hope you have a great one girl!

Our Beach Vacation...Part III

Monday was Labor Day! We spent the day on the beach for the most part relaxing and playing games. Tucker wanted to "cheese" every second for the camera, not sure what had gotten into him! He does love the sand though which put him in an extra good mood the minute he found out that he was going to the "BIG WA WA". Shelley, Wade, Bentlee, and Rylee came to visit after lunch so we went back to the beach for a bit and then hung out at the pool. Her girls are so dag on cute! Uncle KK tells Tucker to dump water on his Mommy and Aunt Chele to cool them off!

Our beach vacation...Part II

Here's Part II...the day after we arrived we spent the day at the pool, at the beach where we learned eventually that was Tucker's favorite part...ALL the SAND and then we celebrated Davey's 32nd birthday, we ate crab legs, shrimp, and had birthday cake.
