Easter 2011

Finally I am getting to blog about Easter! We've been so busy that I just haven't had the time! With summer approaching I don't see us slowing down much either! Easter was a busy, wonderful day! Paisley woke up and checked out everything that the Easter Bunny brought her (And yes the Easter Bunny went overboard again this year...it's way too easy to do)! She had so much fun checking everything out! We got dressed for church and stopped by my sisters to take Tucker and Reed what the Easter Bunny left at our house for them and of course the bunny stopped there for Paisley as well. Then we headed to church! We also had a wonderful lunch at church. We then went to Me-Maw and Paw-Paw's to see what the Easter Bunny brought and then had an Easter Egg hunt as well! Paisley enjoyed every minute of it! Then we headed to my In-Law's for dinner and the Easter Bunny stopped there as well! It was almost like Christmas! Paisley is spoiled by so many! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter! Oh...and hope you don't get tired of looking at pics before you get thru this post...I took way too many (this is probably only about half the pics I took)!

Paisley recognizes some letters now...amazing to me!

"The Greatest Show on Earth"

And "The Greatest Show on Earth" it truely was! Weekend before last Kevin, myself, Paisley, Whitney, Charlie, Tucker, Reed, Me-Maw and Paw-Paw packed up and headed to Hampton to see the circus! It was loads of fun for us all! I never imagined that it would hold Paisley's attention the entire time BUT it certainly did, she sang and clapped the entire time. Her favorite things were the clowns and the elephants! We bought a program and she is still looking at it daily kissing every clown on the clown page each time...LOL! We also bought the $9 lemonade and the $22 light toy...WOW is all I could say! Tucker enjoyed every minute of it as well and even took his program to "show and tell" at school while Reed fell asleep before it was over! We all had such a wonderful time. Me-Maw and Paw-Paw with Tucker, Paisley and Reed!
The Benson's
The elephant was really painting...amazing!
The "funny glasses" that came with the program!

Laughing and having a grand time!
Clapping to the music...try not to look at my face as I was laughing hysterically at Paisley!

The elephant carried the American Flag while the National Anthem was sung.
The opening of the show!
The Tight Rope was amazing, keeping you on edge the entire performance!
The tigers...they were BEAUTIFUL and HUGE!

Paisley's FAVORITE...the elephants!

Paisley playing were elephant light up toy!
Reed said he had taken in enough...haha!

Lil Miss is 21 months old (04/11/11)

My "Lil Miss P" is 21 months old and is something else! She truly amazes us with something new every day! In the past few weeks I have really noticed that she is putting 3 and 4 word sentences together. Here's a cute little story...Monday night Paisley and I were eating dinner since Kevin was working and I burped. She turned and looked at me and said "Xuse You Mommy"...I nearly spit my food out! It cracked me up! She is so smart I thought and us using manners with her is really paying off! She also says "Bless You 'name'" when someone sneezes and then when she wants help she'll say "Help me please"! Of course with Paisley being my first, everything she does is a BIG deal BUT I never realized that she would be this smart at this age. She is also really getting the hang of the potty training, I haven't really pushed it but she is telling us some when she needs to pee-pee or poop and will go to her potty and sit until we come! So we are going to start working very hard on this (this will require more grown up effort than her effort I think). Remembering to ask her every 20-30 minutes is going to be the kicker! Hope to share our March fun in another post as well as our circus trip pictures from this past weekend. We have been so busy lately, both at work and home, that I haven't had much time for the computer! Paisley-21 months old playing with her " elephant light" toy from her very 1st circus
